Guitar chord songbooks are an inexpensive and simple way for guitarists to play the songs of favourite bands or a particular style or period of music. They are very quick to learn and easy to read so that you can strum along to your favourite songs very quickly.
You should note however that this is because they consist of lyrics with chord symbols and chord picture diagrams for each song There is no conventional music or guitar tab and therefore they will not give you the exact accurate results of a full music or tab copy.
They will also work best for you when you have a rough idea of what the song should sound like already
